  • 1 (16oz) can(s)
    shredded sauerkraut
  • 1 small
    head cabbage, shredded
  • 8oz slice
    mushrooms, or canned (stems and pieces)
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine or bacon drippings, have always used the bacon drippings
  • ·
    pepper- to taste

How to Make Kaposzta


  1. Mix all ingredients together. Cover and simmer, and stir occasionally, for about 1 hour.
