jeanne's creamed corn
I adapted this recipe from one I tasted in a great bar-b-que place in San Antonio. It is always a big hit when I take it to pot-luck dinners.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup sugar (optional)
- 2 - 16 oz. package frozen, whole kernel corn, thawed
- 8 ounces cream cheese. cubed
- 3/4 cup milk or cream
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped for garnish
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make jeanne's creamed corn

Step 1Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium low heat.

Step 2Add sugar and stir until dissolved.

Step 3Add corn and heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally

Step 4Stir in cream cheese and milk; stir until melted and well blended.

Step 5Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6Place in a serving dish and sprinkle with green onions for garnish.
