Ingredients

  • 1 pound italian sweet sausage or 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 (10 ounce) frozen chopped spinach, defrosted
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 eggs
  • 1(16 ounce) shredded mozzarella cheesee
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 9(inch) pie crusts
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

How To Make italian meat and spinach pie

  • Step 1
    Brown sausage and onion; drain. Drain spinach; whisk eggs and stir in all ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Put in 2 pie crusts with slits cut on top of pastry and bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until golden brown; let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
