Ingredients

  • 4 cans northern white beans
  • 1 1/2 cans chopped collard greens (drained)
  • 2 cans chopped tomatoes with juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped garlic
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (large pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons ham base - can cook 2-3 ham hocks in water and add 1 cup stock to beans
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make italian beans & greens

  • Step 1
    Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours in covered dish.
  • Step 2
    Make sure all canned ingredients are the same size. Darleen also added basil and oregano to this recipe.
