  • 4 can(s)
    northern white beans
  • 1 1/2 can(s)
    chopped collard greens (drained)
  • 2 can(s)
    chopped tomatoes with juice
  • 1/4 c
    chopped garlic
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped (large pieces)
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    ham base - can cook 2-3 ham hocks in water and add 1 cup stock to beans
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Italian Beans & Greens


  1. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours in covered dish.
  2. Make sure all canned ingredients are the same size. Darleen also added basil and oregano to this recipe.
