hibachi style fried rice

I am always BEGGED by my boyfriend to make this. He LOVES going out to the Hibachi grill, but hates the effect it seems to have on his wallet. ;)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked white rice, cooled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup frozen veggies
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

How To Make hibachi style fried rice

  • Step 1
    In a very large skillet, saute veggies and onion in olive oil.
  • Step 2
    Move veggies to side of skillet and lightly scramble the egg.
  • Step 3
    Add rice and margarine and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add soy sauce and cook for 1 minute. Serve hot.
