- cabbage head, chopped roughly
- 2 large
- onion, cut in slices and separated
- 1/2 medium
- red bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 tsp
- red pepper flakes
- 1/2 c
- olive oil, light
- salt and pepper to taste
- celery stalks, cut into 1/2 inch pieces (optional)
How to Make HEALTHY FRESH CABBAGE STIR FRY
- 1Pour scant 1/2 cup of Olive Oil into large stick free frying pan on med / med -high stove top burner. Make sure oil is real warm.
- 2Pile cut vegetables into pan and stir to coat with warm oil.
- 3Sprinkle vegetables with pepper flakes, salt and pepper (to taste). Flip occasionally to retain crispness. When desired tenderness is reached, remove from pan. When the cabbage mixture does a good wilt down, I remove from pan.
