A few year ago I put this together myself. I have continued to cook it since. I like the crunch in it. Right now I have several winter Cabbage growing in my garden. I don't tire of this recipe.

Ingredients

1
cabbage head, chopped roughly
2 large
onion, cut in slices and separated
1/2 medium
red bell pepper, cut in strips
1 tsp
red pepper flakes
1/2 c
olive oil, light
salt and pepper to taste
2
celery stalks, cut into 1/2 inch pieces (optional)

How to Make HEALTHY FRESH CABBAGE STIR FRY

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pour scant 1/2 cup of Olive Oil into large stick free frying pan on med / med -high stove top burner. Make sure oil is real warm.
  • 2Pile cut vegetables into pan and stir to coat with warm oil.
  • 3Sprinkle vegetables with pepper flakes, salt and pepper (to taste). Flip occasionally to retain crispness. When desired tenderness is reached, remove from pan. When the cabbage mixture does a good wilt down, I remove from pan.
