Since I never liked asparagus, I never tried this recipe. However, knowing Dad likes it, I'm sure Mom created it for him!

Ingredients

  • 16 slices imported boiled ham
  • 16 slices swiss cheese
  • 48 - asparagus spears, cooked
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • - salt and pepper
  • - accent
  • - cooking sherry
  • - sliced almonds, toasted

How To Make ham and asparagus rolls, mom

  • Step 1
    Roll ham, cheese and asparagus spears and line in a shallow pan. Make sauce out of remaining ingredients but almonds, and pour over. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 min, top with almonds.
