Using lower sodium bacon will reduce the sodium, or turkey bacon will reduce the fat.

  • 1 lb
    fresh green beans
  • 4-6 slice
    thick bacon
  • 4-6 slice
    portabello, sliced, opt
  • 4-6 slice
    onion slices, opt
  • 4-6 slice
    red bell slices, opt

How to Make Grilled Green Bean & Veggie Bundles

Step-by-Step

  1. Blanche green beans for about 5 minutes, then place in ice water to stop the cooking process.
  2. Lay a pcs. of bacon flat, in the middle place 6ish green beans, a slice of mushroom, red bell & onion. Wrap bacon around securing with toothpicks.
  3. Cook on grill on upper rack over low heat for approx. 15 mins. with lid closed.
