grilled asparagus with cashews
This is so good. Just had it at my neighbors house this past week end. Had to ask her for the recipe. Will sure make this again on our grill. I think I will add a little Soy Sauce to mine when I make it, just to perk it up a little.

Each packet serves 1 to 2. As many packet's you want to make.
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1/2 teaspoon each of salt & pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cashews
- - optional: 1 teaspoon of soy sauce to each packet.
How To Make grilled asparagus with cashews

Step 1Heat grill. Cut 18 x 18 inch sheet of heavy-duty foil. As many as you will need.

Step 2Break off tough ends of asparagus as far down as stalks snap easily.

Step 3Place asparagus on center of each foil.

Step 4Top each with butter, salt & pepper to taste and soy sauce if desired. (Can omit this)

Step 5Bring up two sides of foil over asparagues so edges meet. Seal edges, making tight 1/2 inch fold. Fold again, alowing space for heat to circulate and also for expansion. Fold ends to seal.

Step 6Place packet or packets on grill over low heat.

Step 7Cover grill and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, rotating packet 1/2 turn after four minutes until asparagus is tender.

Step 8To serve, cut a large x across top of each packet. Carefully fold back foil to allow steam to escape.

Step 9Sporinkle with cashews. And divide packet between two people is desired. Serve hot with your favorite grilled meats or fish.
