This is our favorite way to cook asparagus. Sometimes we also add chunks of onion, cherry tomatoes and sliced mushrooms to the mix.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- - ground black pepper to taste
How To Make grilled asparagus

Step 1Snap off tough ends of asparagus and wash well. Cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces.

Step 2Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag, seal and marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 3Preheat grill on high heat.

Step 4Remove asparagus from bag and discard marinade. Place in a grill basket and place basket onto grill rack.

Step 5Grill 5 to 10 minutes or until asparagus is done.
