Ingredients
- 7 pounds green tomatoes, sliced or into quarters
- 1 cup lime juice
- 2 gallons water
- 5 pounds sugar
- 1 quart vinegar
- 1 teaspoon mace
- 1 teaspoon tumeric
- 1 teaspoon clove, whole

Step 1Mix lime and water. Add tomaoes. Soak for 24 hours. Drain and rinse.

Step 2Mix remaining ingredients. Add tomatoes. Let stand 24 hours.

Step 3In a large stock pot cokk 20 minutes. Pour into mason jars.
