green beans with sesame sauce - ez
This is from an international foods cookbook for kids. I substituted sesame oil for butter to update a bit from the original 1981 date! I think it's time to give this to my daughter so she can cook with her kiddo! If you prefer to use fresh green beans, just add to the cooking time.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 16 ounces package frozen green beans
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
How To Make green beans with sesame sauce - ez

Step 1Toast sesame seeds in a small skillet until golden. Remove from heat. Crush slightly in blender or use a mortar and pestle. Mix with soy sauce and sugar.

Step 2Cook beans as directed being careful not to overcook. Drain well.

Step 3Add sesame seed mixture and sesame oil to hot beans. Stir to mix.
