Ingredients

  • 2 lg. can(s)
    green beans
  • 1 lg can(s)
    crushed tomatoes
  • 1 medium
    onion chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic chopped
  • 1 pkg
    ham seasoning cut into small pieces
  • 2 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    worstershire sauce

How to Make Green Beans with Ham and Tomatoes

Step-by-Step

  1. In large dutch oven,add 1/3 cup vegetable oil.Saute' onions until clear. Add canned tomatoes with minced garlic and stir. Put worstershire sauce in next with ham seasoning. On low heat let ingredients simmer for about 5 minutes. Open large can of green beans saving the water inside and add to mixture. Salt and pepper to taste and let cook for 45 minutes on low heat. If you want,can whole or fresh sliced and cooked potatoes can be added to mixture.
