Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 2 - tomatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
How To Make green beans provencal

Step 1Wash beans and remove the strings. Cut the beans into 1 1/2 inch pieces; set aside.

Step 2Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in the skillet. Crumble the bacon, and set aside.

Step 3Saute onion and celery in drippings until tender, Add the green beansm tomato, salt, oregano, and pepper. Cover and cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until the beans are tender, Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
