GREEN BEANS CREOLE
We still make it today but the recipe has changed a bit to use fresh ingredients from the garden. I posted the original...feel free to change it up!

3/4 conions, chopped
1/2 cgreen pepper, chopped
2 Tbspbrown sugar
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
1/8 tspdry mustard
16 ozcan peeled tomatoes
1 can(s)green beans, french style
How to Make GREEN BEANS CREOLE
- Cook bacon until crisp and remove to paper toweling. Save 3T fat in skillet.
- Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender. Blend in spices.
- Add tomatoes with juice. Cook and stir, breaking up tomatoes, until mixture thickens. Add green beans and heat through.
- Sprinkle with reserved bacon to serve.
