green bean casserole (no mushrooms)

I am allergic to mushrooms, so I have to alter this recipe a little bit. Instead of cream of mushroom soup, I use cream of potato. I add a step and heat it with cooked bacon.

Ingredients
- 2 cans cream of potato soup
- 6 slices thick cut bacon
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 8 cups cooked green beans
- 2 2/3 cups french fried onions
How To Make green bean casserole (no mushrooms)

Step 1Cook bacon in skillet until firm. Drain on paper towels, and crumble.

Step 2Heat soup in a medium saucepan with bacon, adding milk gradually.

Step 3Stir soup mixture, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 1 1/3 cups onions in a 3-quart casserole.

Step 4Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.

Step 5Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown
