This was my Aunt Vera's recipe. The first time I had it was in 1978. It's just a little different from the usual green bean casserole, It is delicious. I have probably made this recipe more than any other over the years.

Ingredients
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup cream or milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
- 4 cups green beans
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimento, optional
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- - bread crumbs
How To Make green bean casserole

Step 1Melt the butter and mix in the flour. When smooth add the soup and milk. Cook until thickened. Add the Worcestershire sauce. Add the cheese and stir until melted. Add the salt and pepper. Add the pimento, if using. Combine sauce with the green beans. Place in a casserole dish. Combine the melted butter with bread crumbs and top the casserole. Bake in a 350 degree oven until bubbly, about 30 minutes. Note: You can also use Velveeta cheese in this recipe, or whatever type cheese you like.
