gordon version of green bean casserole
(1 RATING)
This is the way my mother in law made her Green Bean Casserole. People have tried, but were unable to make it right when the kids asked for it during special times. This is a mainstay of my 4 kids for each holiday gathering. Maybe someone else makes a slightly different version I might like to try.

How To Make gordon version of green bean casserole
-
Step 1Take onion and saute in a pan with one tab of margarine or butter. In the mean time open all the canned goods.
-
Step 2Take the evaporated milk and 1/3 velveeta cheese, cut in easy to melt cubes, into the microwave using a microwavable bowl. Be careful not to burn the cheese. Once fully melted put in pan with all the beans, and mushroom soup mix thoroughly.
-
Step 3Cook in 360 degree oven for 45 minutes to one hour. Only put the French Fried Onions on in the last 10-15 minutes.
