- 1 1/2 pounds carrots, peeled and cut in 1-1 1/2-inch chunks
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper, optional
- chopped fresh parsley
How To Make glazed carrots

Step 1Add the carrots, butter, brown sugar, and water to a large skillet. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes, or until the carrots begin to soften.

Step 2Remove the cover and cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, or until the glaze thickens.
