Another one of my Mother's favorite recipes.....

Ingredients

  • 1 head - large cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon salt

How To Make german slaw

  • Step 1
    Chop cabbage in a blender and mix with chopped green peppers and onions.
  • Step 2
    Heat the last 5 ingredients until sugar dissolves and then pour over the cabbage, green peppers and onions. Mix well.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate 24 hours and enjoy. Taste better the next day.
