Another one of my Mother's favorite recipes.....

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 head
large cabbage
1 c
chopped green peppers
1 c
chopped onions
1 c
canola oil
3/4 c
sugar
2/3 c
vinegar
1 tsp
celery seed
1 Tbsp
salt

How to Make German Slaw

Step-by-Step

  • 1Chop cabbage in a blender and mix with chopped green peppers and onions.
  • 2Heat the last 5 ingredients until sugar dissolves and then pour over the cabbage, green peppers and onions. Mix well.
  • 3Refrigerate 24 hours and enjoy. Taste better the next day.
