Another one of my Mother's favorite recipes.....

Ingredients

  • 1 head
    large cabbage
  • 1 c
    chopped green peppers
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 c
    canola oil
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt

How to Make German Slaw

Step-by-Step

  1. Chop cabbage in a blender and mix with chopped green peppers and onions.
  2. Heat the last 5 ingredients until sugar dissolves and then pour over the cabbage, green peppers and onions. Mix well.
  3. Refrigerate 24 hours and enjoy. Taste better the next day.
