- Add to butter to large skillet. Saute the shallot and garlic for 1 minute. Add the oyster sauce and bok choy. Add two tablespoons of water and cover with a lid. Let steam 3 minutes. Uncover and stir and cook until desired tenderness on the harder ends of the bok choy.
