How to Make Fried Squash
- After sprinkling both sides of each squash slice, allow the salt to draw out beads of moisture from each squash piece. This should take 10 to 15 minutes.
- Combine flour and cornmeal; coat each piece of squash in the flour/cornmeal mixture, coating both sides.
- Pour oil in teflon skillet and fry prepared squash on medium high heat til golden on both sides.
- Drain the fried squash on paper towels and serve.
