Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 to 4 - squash, cleaned and cut in 1/4th inch slices
- - salt each squash slice on both sides, to taste
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
How To Make fried squash

Step 1After sprinkling both sides of each squash slice, allow the salt to draw out beads of moisture from each squash piece. This should take 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 2Combine flour and cornmeal; coat each piece of squash in the flour/cornmeal mixture, coating both sides.

Step 3Pour oil in teflon skillet and fry prepared squash on medium high heat til golden on both sides.

Step 4Drain the fried squash on paper towels and serve. Enjoy!
