Ingredients
- 3/4 cup corn oil for frying
- 5 medium squash, fresh
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal (in my opinion, it makes a difference)
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- - salt and pepper
How To Make fried squash

Step 1wash and cut the squash in about 1/2 inch slices

Step 2mix all dry ingredients

Step 3dredge squash in cornmeal mixture and place in hot oil about 400 degrees,in a single layer, until golden brown

Step 4i use a cast iron skillet but my aunts all use electric skillets but long as it is fried golden, its gonna be good.
