fried green tomatoes
I've lived in a Southern state for over 6 years now and I've finally made these beautiful fried tangy delicious bites! The tomatoes in my garden may not all make it to red anymore.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
No need to travel to the Whistle Stop Cafe after you try this fried green tomato recipe. The buttermilk soak makes the breading really stick to the tomatoes and it doesn't fall off when frying. They end up with that iconic green tomato tart and buttermilk tang with a crunchy salt and pepper crust. These are just perfect!
