I created this recipe to appease a corn hater... he loved it!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces bacon
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped (red or green)
  • 30 ounces whole kern corn, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make fried corn

  • Step 1
    In skillet cook bacon until crisp. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Add onion and bell pepper to bacon grease and saute until tender.
  • Step 3
    Add drained cans of corn, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 4
    Crumble bacon and add to corn. Mix well over medium heat. Cover skillet and simmer 5 minutes until hot. Serve hot.
