- 2 tablespoons bacon fat
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 8 large ears corn
- salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper
How To Make fried corn

Step 1Melt the bacon fat and butter in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat.

Step 2Add the onion and corn and cook, stirring frequently, until the onions are soft and the corn is tender and lightly browned, about 8-10 minutes. Scrape the bottom of the pan to release any stuck-on caramelized bits.
