Fried Cabbage with Sausage

Sally Davison

This is such a fast and easy dish to make for dinner, especially if I've been gone all afternoon. And it is very filling and pretty healthy, especially with the organic coconut oil. I make this often, nearly every week. When we've traveled to visit family & I've made this, everyone loves it & wants the this easy recipe!

How to Make Fried Cabbage with Sausage

  1. Melt coconut oil OR butter in large skillet. Add cabbage, onion, and cook on medium high for about 5 minutes, stirring to keep from sticking to pan.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes. I stir mine every 10 minutes or so but it is not necessary.
  3. We love this and usually eat it all between the 2 of us, but it could be up to 8 servings as a side dish. Only 4 g net carbs per serving.
