fried cabbage
This is something my grandma used to make whenever we would come to dinner...when I was very young I hated it...but as I got older I grew into it and now its a favorite of mine....and its so simple.....

Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil of choice (vegetable, canola or olive work best)
How To Make fried cabbage

Step 1in a large skillet heat the oil and sauté the onion until just starting to turn golden brown.

Step 2add cabbage and stir well to make sure all cabbage is coated with oil.

Step 3let cook for about 2 mins and then add the pepper and soy sauce. Cover and cook until cabbage is cooked through and tender. (you can also add 1 tablespoon minced garlic to this along with the soy sauce and pepper if you are a garlic lover, or if you like spicy add 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes for a good kick)
