  • 1 medium
    head of cabbage
  • 1/4 c
    bacon drippings
  • ·
    salt & pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    sour cream

How to Make Fried Cabbage

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash and core your cabbage. Then cut the cabbage into 1/4 inch squares.
  2. Saute the cabbage in the bacon drippings, stirring constantly for about 1 minute, until tender and crisp, but not wilted or cooked through.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir in the sour cream. Serves 4
