I never liked cabbage my whole life until I tasted this. This recipe is not healthy by any stretch of the imagination, but BOY, is it GOOD!!

Ingredients
- 1 - head of cabbage
- 5 slices bacon (more if desired)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- pinch sugar
How To Make fried cabbage

Step 1Chop cabbage and set aside.

Step 2Cut bacon into 1" pieces and fry over medium heat until crisp in large, heavy pan. Once browned, strain out bacon pieces to drain on paper towling, reserving grease in pan.

Step 3Over medium heat, pour cut-up cabbage into bacon grease, tossing to coat evenly with the grease. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.

Step 4Once cabbage has cooked until almost tender, add bacon pieces back in and toss to distribute. Finish cooking until desired tenderness is reached.
