  • 1 bunch
    asparagus woody ends trimmed
  • 2 stick
    miso paste
  • 1/4 c
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tube(s)
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
  • ·
    oil for frying

How to Make Fried Asparagus with Miso Sauce


  1. Place the miso, butter, garlic, soy sauce, and honey in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until smooth and heated through. Set aside.
  2. Place a large skillet on high heat. Fill with oil enough to cover the asparagus. Heat the oil for 5 minutes until or until asparagus sizzles when dipped in. Deep fry the asparagus for 2 to 3 minutes depending on how big they are.
  3. Drain. Serve with miso sauce over top.
