  • 1 qt
    fresh green beans
  • 2 large
    tomatoes, cut into large pieces
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic salt (mccormick california style)
  • 2 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 c
    precooked bacon bits i make a package ahead of time and use in several recipies!

How to Make Fresh Green bean saute


  1. Melt butter in lg fry pan
  2. combine garlic salt, basil, and parsley in butter, then add bacon bits
  3. add tomatoes and let simmer for a few minutes stirring gently (the tomatoes kind of end up creating a sauce)
  4. add green beans and let simmer on low for 40-45 minutes minutes stirring occasionaly
    serve warm!
