"fresh" corn on the cob
(1 RATING)
My father had a lot of Sweet Corn one year and the neighbors taught him to freeze and serve this corn year round. He did and we all loved it!

How To Make "fresh" corn on the cob
-
Step 1When you want fresh corn on cob take the frozen corn and place in the microwave and cook about ten minutes. When they are cooked take and gently remove the husks and all the silk that was on the corn slides right off and you have fresh corn on cob!
-
Step 2Now Dad placed them in paper sacks and so they all cooked the same. Being my family was small we only did four at a time and I did not bag them to cook. But I found out later they are really moist if you cook them in a bag.
