fresh corn on the cob - instant pot
It's quick, it's easy, it does not heat up the kitchen and it's always so delicious ! I am still in love with my Instant Pot and this summer it has had quite the workout just with all the fresh corn on the cob. It just could not be easier to have perfect - every single time - corn on the cob! Through trial and error I landed on the time listed in the recipe for the best fresh corn on the cob we have ever had. I spent the extra and got a really nice steamer basket for my I.P. and it was worth every penny I spent. It is the one extra piece I can't do without !

How To Make fresh corn on the cob - instant pot
-
Step 1Pull the husks and silk from the corn. I like to break the corn in half for smaller pieces.
-
Step 2Pour 1 cup of cold water in the pressure cooker then put the steamer basket into Instant Pot. Place the corn into the steamer basket. Secure the lid and turn valve to seal. Set control to pressure cook for 10 minutes.
-
Step 3Once the cooking is complete do a quick release. Carefully remove lid. Use tongs to remove the hot corn from steamer basket and serve as you prefer with butter, parmesan cheese, snipped chives, crumbled bacon ... whatever makes you happy!
