Ingredients
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 - green pepper (chopped fine)
- 2 cups diced celery
- 2 - large tomatoes, (chopped)
- 1/2 cup fresh bacon drippings
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 pound bacon
How To Make french skillet cabbage

Step 1brown bacon and set aside. chop vegetables and add to pan along with the bacon grease. sprinkle sugar over vegetables and stir to combine. cover and cook over medium heat 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender. stir bacon back into vegetables and serve immediately.
