cold finnish cucumbers......(kurkku tilli)
This is another recipe from my Finland recipe file.. A wee bit sweet, a tiny taste of salt, and the dill weed sets the tone, for a refreshing ice cold cucumber snack. Also great along with most meals. I love the taste, different from most salt & vinegar recipes. And so good. nancy...7/20/12

Ingredients
- 2 - cucumbers
- 5 tablespoons water
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dill weed
- 1 dash white pepper...optional
How To Make cold finnish cucumbers......(kurkku tilli)

Step 1Wash cukes. Cut off ends. Partial peel cukes, lenght wise. leave a few little strips of green skin. Score with a fork, pull fork dowm length wise all around.

Step 2Mix all ingredients in a jar. Slice cukes into slices, not to thin. Put slices in the jar . cover and shake. Put in refrigerater, over night is best. Shake a few times.
