family cole slaw
This has been in the family since I can remember it's the only one I make .We only use a fresh head of cabbage that we grate, it seems to taste so much better . TASTE GOOD ON A HOT DOG OR A HAM SANDWICH TOO!

Ingredients
- 6 cups cabbage, grated
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 1/2 cup green pepper,diced
- 1 cup ripe tomato, diced
- 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
How To Make family cole slaw

Step 1In medium bowl combine cabbage ,carrot, onion ,green pepper and tomato.

Step 2In small bowl mix mayonnaise, sugar, cider vinegar, celery seed , salt and pepper

Step 3stir into vegetables until well blended

Step 4refrigerate at least a few hours or more ,it taste better made the night before
