I was in need of something quick to cook to go with some fish my husband was grilling. I didn't have any baked beans but I did have Navy Beans and this is what I came up with. Very good and easy to cook.

Ingredients

  • 2-(15oz) can(s)
    navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1-(8oz) can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 3 slice
    bacon, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    onion salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    tony chachere's more spice(or seasoning of your choice)

How to Make Easy Spicy Navy Beans

Step-by-Step

  1. In large skillet cook chopped bacon until done. Add drained and rinsed beans, mix well. Add all other ingredients, mix well and simmer about 10 minutes.
