This is a family recipe from my husband’s side of the family. It is amazing in flavor and very easy!

Ingredients

  • 3- 14oz can(s)
    glory seasoned collard greens ( southern style)
  • 1 pkg
    bacon (cut in small pieces)
  • 3
    tomato diced
  • 1
    onion diced

How to Make Easy Southern Collard Greens

Step-by-Step

  1. Place bacon in a frying pan after its done cooking, remove bacon from pan but leave bacon grease in the pan.
  2. Add onions to the pan that has the beacon grease in it. Cook till they are almost done
  3. add tomatoes to pan and continue cooking
  4. add back in the bacon
  5. add 3 cans of drained collard greens
  6. Continue simmering for 10 minutes
