easy scalloped cabbage
This is the perfect side dish to go with a ham or roast for any occasion. It's easy and can be made ahead of time. I love vegetables and i'm always trying different ways to prepare them. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Ingredients
- 4 cups cabbage, shredded
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
- 1 cup milk
How To Make easy scalloped cabbage

Step 1Preheat oven to 400.

Step 2Drop the cabbage into boiling water with 1 tsp of salt. Cook until cabbage until almost tender. Drain.

Step 3Spray casserole dish with cooking spray. Layer 1/2 of the cabbage into dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of pepper, 1/2 of the flour, 1/2 of the cheese, and dot with 1/2 of the butter.

Step 4Layer the remainder of the cabbage on top. Sprinkle with the rest of the salt, pepper, and cheese.

Step 5Top with cracker crumbs and dot with the remainder of the butter.

Step 6Heat milk in microwave or sauce pan. Pour hot milk over casserole.

Step 7Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly hot.
