easy peasy peas

We really like peas - I prefer frozen over canned b/c they are not mushy. The trick is to heat them to preferred serving temperature, but not to boil them. Omit garlic if you like.

Ingredients For easy peasy peas

  • 2 c
    frozen peas
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 tsp
    chicken bouillon (granulated or powdered)
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic, minced or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • pinch
  • salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make easy peasy peas

    Add water, peas, garlic, pinch of sugar and bouillon to medium saucepan.

    Place butter on top of peas. Heat until all butter is melted. Do not let boil, just heat.

    Drain off water. Add salt and pepper to taste.
