A real simple, but tasty casserole dish.

  • 2 c
    light sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 3
    chopped scallions
  • 1/2 c
    real bacon bits
  • 3 c
    reduced-fat, shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 c
    cooked rice, divided

How to Make Easy layered casserole


  1. Heat oven to 425. Spray a 2-quart casserole dish w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine sour cream, sugar, salt and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, combine scallions, bacon bits and cheese. Place 1/3 of the rice in casserole dish. Layer w/ 1/3 of the sour cream mix, then 1/3 of the cheese mix.
  3. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending w/ the cheese mix. Bake 30 mins, or until bubbly.
