easy holiday green beans

This is something I have been meaning to make for awhile and am just now getting around to it.I love anything with Alfredo Sauce and I think this is a great recipe to use it in. I hope you try it for the holiday.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 14 oz. each green beans, drained well
  • 1 package 6 oz. stove top stuffing mix, dry
  • 4 tablespoons butter,melted
  • 2 - green onions,(and some green part),sliced
  • 1 or 2 dashes ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/4 cups alfredo sauce,store bought or homemade(use just enough to coat beans well)
  • 6 slices pre-cooked bacon, crumbled

How To Make easy holiday green beans

  • Step 1
    Place drained beans in a medium bowl.Set aside. Turn on oven to 375^
  • Step 2
    In another bowl, toss stove top with the melted butter,then onions and bacon.
  • I used a 9x13 casserole  dish.  For the sauce -I used only 1 cup .
    Step 3
    Pour alfredo sauce and nutmeg over the green beans to evenly coat.(use less sauce if you like it less creamy) Transfer to a buttered casserole dish., sprinkle with the onion,bacon and crumbs and bake until golden . 20-25 minutes.
