easy cheesy creamed spinach with garlic
My mother-in-law makes a wonderful creamed spinach. I tried my version, adjusted it to my taste, and added Parmesan cheese. I didn't measure anything when I made this, so feel free to adjust amounts if needed.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Lauren's cheesy creamed spinach with garlic is just as good as something you'd order at a fancy steakhouse. The sauce is thick, creamy, and full of garlic. Parmesan cheese adds a robust flavor to the cream sauce. This fresh creamed spinach is easy to make and, since it has a fancy feel, would make a wonderful holiday side dish.

How To Make easy cheesy creamed spinach with garlic

-
Step 2In a small saucepan or skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
-
Step 3Add flour and incorporate it well to make a roux. Let it come to a bubble and cook for a few minutes.
