I love sauteed buttered cabbage but cooking cabbage in the instant pot is fast and easy. My grandmother always put in a pinch or two of sugar when cooking her cabbage.

1 - green cabbage, cored and chopped
1 stick butter
1 cup chicken broth
1 pinch sugar
- salt and pepper to taste

How To Make easy buttered cabbage in instant pot

Step 1

Place chicken broth and butter into the instant pot, then add the chopped cabbage

Step 2

Set the instant pot to sealing and cook at high pressure for 6 minutes
Step 3

Press cancel and do a quick release
Step 4

Stir the cabbage, add pinch of sugar and season with salt and pepper to taste
