curried onions
(1 RATING)
This is a Thanksgiving favorite. Dates back to the creamed onions my mothers family always served at Thanksgiving. One year we had a Pakistani guest and my mother wanted to add a familiar flavor. Not sure how familiar American curry powder is, but thats what she added to the creamed onions. Now my daughter requests it. ps: this is basically adding curry powder to a basic white sauce.
