Crusty White Corn Casserole
1 can(s)creamed white corn (16 oz)
1 can(s)whole white corn
8 ozsour cream
1 smalljalapeno pepper or use a mild pepper, finely chopped
1/4 conion, finely chopped
How to Make Crusty White Corn Casserole
- Preheat over to 350ºF. Melt butter n a 8X12 inch glass baking dish in the oven. Remove when butter melts. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels. Once cooled; crumble bacon.
- Mix the bacon & sautéd onions, both cans of corn, eggs, sour cream and chopped pepper and pour into the hot buttered pan.
- Bake one hour until a crust forms. Take out of oven; cover with the crumbled bacon. Serve as a side with some Spicy chicken.
