Ingredients

  • 4 - regular cucumbers
  • 2 - french cucumbers ( may be substituted )
  • 1 - onion
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar ( may reduce to 1 cup )
  • 2 teaspoons celery seed

How To Make crispy cucumbers

  • Step 1
    Slice cucumbers medium to thin. Slice onion and then cut in half and separate.
  • Step 2
    Mix water and salt in a container and add above ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Cover container and let sit for 4 or more hours in the refridgerator. Pour off the liquid.
  • Step 4
    Add the rest of the ingredients to the container and mix. Return to the refridgerator for a few hours before eating.
