How To Make creamy parmesan roasted onion slices
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Take care not to disturb the onion slices. Keep them together and intact. Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 15 minutes.
-
Step 2Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, bring cream and wine to a simmer, just until it gets bubbly around the edges. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Step 3Now remove the onions from the oven and very carefully transfer them to a shallow baking dish. Turn the oven up to 450. Slowly pour the cream mixture over the onions and sprinkle each with parmesan cheese.
-
Step 4Cover the dish with foil and return to the oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 more minutes until onions get browned and caramelized.
