This is a good side dish to go with just about anything. My family likes it because it is just a little different from the ordinary. The jalapeno pepper and cumin give it a little bit of kick.

- 2 pounds frozen whole kernel corn
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large bell pepper finely chopped
- 1 - jalapeno peppers seeded finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin ground
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup graded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 ounces cream cheese

Step 1In a large pot combine all ingredients except the cheeses.

Step 2Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Step 3reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes stirring often to prevent scalding.

Step 4Add cheeses and stir until they are melted. remove from heat.
